puts artificial intelligence
in the service of the fight against the Covid-19
Villepinte, May 26, 2020
DRONE VOLT, an expert in on-board artificial intelligence and manufacturer of professional civilian drones, announces that it has developed a video application for the wearing of the protective mask, an indispensable device in the fight against the proliferation of Covid-19.
This software developed in-house by AERIALTRONICS, a subsidiary of the DRONE VOLT group specializing in artificial intelligence, will be distributed in SaaS (Software as a Service) mode. It can detect the wearing of the mask via an existing network of IP cameras. Markets are diverse: public transport or health services, sports infrastructure, shopping malls, etc.
The group once again demonstrates its ability to innovate in the field of artificial intelligence and adapt real-time image analysis techniques. Beyond the immediate public health issue, this solution could be deployed for a large number of applications: recognition of personal protective equipment (EPI) on a construction site, detection of gatherings or crowd movements, etc.
- This application is based on the artificial intelligence know-how of AERIALTRONICS acquired by DRONE VOLT in September 2017. Olivier GUALDONI, CEO of DRONE VOLT, said.
- This tremendous technological advance could not have been realized without the vision of the founder, Dimitri BATSIS, who had detected this know-how in artificial intelligence during the acquisition. »
