Anasse Bari has designed a new solution
Innovation abounds around corona. The latest is designed by Anasse Bari, a professor at New York University (NYU) and a laureate at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (AUI). Its innovation consists, according to the initiators, of an “artificial intelligence (AI) tool to understand the evolution of coronavirus and determine the actions to be taken to limit its impact.”
According to the same source, this decision-making tool based mainly on predictive analytics has already been deployed by the prestigious American university where this Tangier native leads a research team.
In detail, this solution will enable, in concrete terms, to”report the clinical severity of pandemic cases, and will help physicians determine which patients actually need beds and which ones can return home, as hospital resources are limited.” Better yet, a partnership is currently under discussion between AUI and NYU, through Mr Bari, for the use of advanced technologies to track the spread of Covid-19 in Morocco, but also to determine precisely its economic and health impacts.
